Dr. Reneé Albert
A dynamic and entertaining speaker, Dr. Albert is in her 25th year as a full-time educator. She has spoken at numerous colleges and universities to soon-to-be teachers, educators, and administrator professionals on such topics as What I’ve Learned Since I Became a Teacher and Strive or Survive: Overcoming burnout in the classroom.
In an educational environment where nearly 50% of all grade school teachers quit the classroom within five years, Renee’s passion is to help teachers with facing the issue of burnout. Her exceptional gifts as a strategist allow her to make practical insights to life lessons with presentations that are unforgettable and humorous. People are eager to hear and to use her approaches to leadership, change, balance and teamwork in the classroom setting. Her presentations create the professional culture that can produce the solutions required for success in today's ever-changing educational climate. Reneé has earned a Masters degree in Education from Cumberland University and a doctorate in Adult Learning/Staff Development from Regent University. She resides with her daughter in Atlanta, Georgia and is currently an academic coach at an elementary school.
Ms. Vanessa Hardaway
Ms. Hardaway is a dynamic, energizing and professional motivational speaker with great expertise and insight into the critical needs of the teaching profession in today’s classroom. Her undergraduate degree in business administration led to a career as a probation officer in the judicial system. Vanessa says, “I had no way of knowing how this experience would help me in dealing with the challenges of the classroom and in the homes of my students.”
Vanessa has gone on to earn a Master of Arts in Elementary Education and has been teaching for 23 years. Her down-to-earth speaking style, practicality, sense of humor, numerous stories and examples make her ideas clear and accessible to her audiences. She has the unique ability to both inform and inspire excellence in the teaching career. Vanessa’s engaging people skills, wit and humor make her a delight for all to hear. She resides in Fayetteville, NC and currently teaches pre-K.
